What You Can Do in MyChart

MyChart allows you to review parts of your health information after your visit. Instead of relying only on memory or printed paperwork, you can log in to see documented details from your care team.

Through MyChart, you may be able to:
  • Review visit summaries.
  • View lab and test results.
  • See medication lists.
  • Track past appointments.
  • Access referral details.
Information becomes available after it has been finalized and documented by your care team.
Why This Matters for You: Access to your health information helps reinforce important instructions. It allows you to revisit details whenever you need clarification.

 About Lab Results

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid generally require we maintain health records for a period of seven (7) years. If we have your original medical record, or historical medical information, it will be available in our archive system. The transition to Epic does not change this. For records older than three years:
  • Epic will include a link to the archive system.
  • Clicking the link will allow providers to view your historical records from our archives.

Nothing will be lost. All lab results will be available either:
  • Directly in Epic, or
  • Through the archive system.

How to Get Started with MyChart

March 31, 2026

Peak Vista’s legacy patient portal will no longer be available once we have transitioned to Epic. MyChart will be available to all Peak Vista patients and can also be linked to your other MyChart account via one app. Your current Peak Vista Intellichart patient portal will be retired as we transition to a more advanced system.

Your children and spouse may be added to your MyChart account as a “proxy,” allowing them to see the information as if they were logged in as you.

Privacy and Security in MyChart

You will be able to call the Customer Service Center as normal to schedule appointments. Additionally, starting March 31, you will be able to schedule virtual care appointments online and through MyChart. In the months that follow, Peak Vista will open up the ability to schedule other appointment types online and through MyChart.

Access and Support Options

The switch to Epic will not affect your medication refills.

We will be converting your medication list during the process of moving to Epic; however, it we always recommend you bring your medication list with you just to confirm.

We encourage patients to always arrive fifteen minutes early for appointments. This allows us to gather any additional information we need for your visit.

You should expect the same exceptional care you have always received at Peak Vista. Although you may experience some different questions or a different process, you shouldn’t expect things to be much different.
