Why Choose the Peak Vista Pharmacy?

Our pharmacy helps Peak Vista patients get low-cost medicine in the same place they get their care—quick, easy, and close to home. You don’t have to travel far or fill out extra paperwork. We're here to make it simple for you.

  • Low-cost medicine: We offer affordable prescriptions for patients with Medicaid or those paying with cash.
  • Right where you get care: Our pharmacies are located inside Peak Vista health centers, so you can get your medicine without an extra trip.
  • No extra forms: If you’re a Peak Vista patient, we already have your info. That means less waiting and fewer steps.
  • Support for long-term health needs: We help with managing diabetes and other conditions that need regular care and medicine.
  • Help with your medicines: When you get a new medicine, our pharmacists will tell you how to take it, why it matters, and answer any questions you have.
  • Delivery to some health centers: Can’t pick up your prescription? We can send it to certain Peak Vista health centers for you. See our Delivery Locations below.

Services We Offer

We do more than fill prescriptions. We support your health.

Our team helps you learn how to take your medicine and take care of your health. We’re here to give you the help and answers you need.

We also work with your doctor to help people with diabetes, high cholesterol, or who take warfarin (a blood thinner). In these programs, you can meet with a pharmacist who will help change your medicine and make a plan just for you.

Services include:

  • Prescription fills and refills
  • Diabetes support through the Cardio Risk & Diabetes Center (CRDC)
  • Warfarin dos monitoring and management through the Warfarin Center
  • Patient Assistance Program for free medications from select manufacturers
  • Prescription delivery to select Peak Vista health centers

Medical and Behavioral Health telehealth visits use our OTTO platform. Dental telehealth uses Teledental by Mouthwatch. Both options are private, safe, flexible, and easy to use.

Refill, Pay & Manage Your Prescriptions

Need a refill? We’ve got you covered. Call us or stop by to ask for a refill — we can often have it ready the same day! Please give us three business days if we need to contact your doctor or order the medicine specially.

Refill details:

  • Call your pharmacy location directly
  • Allow extra time for special-ordered medications or if you are out of refills
  • Ask about delivery options to select health centers

Our pharmacy is only for Peak Vista patients. We accept Medicaid and cash. Our cash prices are usually much lower than other pharmacies because of a discount program called 340B.

Important info:

  • Accepts: Medicaid and cash
  • Does NOT accept: Medicare or commercial insurance
  • No controlled substances available
  • Ask pharmacy staff about our Patient Assistance Program

Your Pharmacy Questions Answered

  1. Who can use the Peak Vista pharmacies?
Only Peak Vista patients who have Medicaid or pay with cash can use our pharmacy.

  2. Do you take Medicare or private insurance?
No, we only take Medicaid or cash. Sometimes patients choose Peak Vista because our cash prices cost less than their Medicare or insurance copays.

  3. Do I need to bring my prescription with me?
No. If your Peak Vista provider sent your prescription, it’s already in our system. Just come in and take a number.

  4. Where can I find a Peak Vista pharmacy?
Our pharmacies are inside the Health Center at Academy and the Health Center at Union.

  5. What kind of medicine can I get here?
We now offer many kinds of medicines, including special orders. Most medicines are available, but we don’t give out controlled drugs (like strong pain pills). Ask any pharmacy team member if you want to know if we have a medicine.

  6. Do you deliver medicine?
Yes — but only to some Peak Vista health centers. We don’t deliver to homes. We deliver to health centers in Colorado Springs, Divide, Fountain, Limon, and Strasburg. See Where Prescription Delivery is Available above for the full list.

  7. Do you mail medicine?
We are unable to mail prescriptions at this time.

  8. What if I can’t afford my medicine?
If you can’t pay for all your medicines today, you can take them now and we’ll send you a bill to pay a little at a time. Also, ask our pharmacy staff about the Patient Assistance Program, where you might get some medicines for free from the maker.

  9. Do you provide specialized pharmacy care for long-term conditions?
Yes. We have pharmacist-operated clinics to manage diabetes, cholesterol, and warfarin (a blood thinner). Learn more about our Cardiovascular Risk & Diabetes Support Services and our Warfarin Center.

  10. Can I ask the pharmacy questions about my medicine?
Yes! Our pharmacists are always here in person or by phone to help you know how to take your medicine the right way.
