Peak Vista’s Health Education Classes

The goal of our Health Education Department is to promote health and wellness for our patients. Our health education staff works in collaboration with Peak Vista providers to offer individualized and group education for patients. Health education is provided by a Registered Dietitian, whose services are available to all Peak Vista patients.

Our Health Education Department’s group classes and individual appointments focus on teaching lifestyle modifications for disease prevention, including

  • Healthy eating
  • Regular exercise
  • Stress management
  • Chronic disease management

Is Peak Vista Accessible To Those With Disabilities? 

Yes! We are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessible, and proud to offer multiple accommodations for those living with disabilities.

  • 30 High/Low exam tables distributed throughout our various locations and sites
  • 3 wheelchair scales
  • Interpretation services
  • Sign Language services
  • Wheelchair accessible sites

Can I Bring My Child In To Be Examined?

Yes! Peak Vista Community Health Center staffs pediatricians at various locations that are qualified to perform well-baby and well-child check-ups. 

In addition, we provide convenient Well-Child Waiting Areas in three of our family health centers where parents can drop off their children while they go to their health appointment. During your child’s stay with our experienced and caring Well-Child Attendants, time is spent on education and interaction with toys, books and other engaging learning tools. This service is provided at no cost to the patient. 

What If I Don’t Have Health Insurance?

Anyone in need of care is welcome here at Peak Vista, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status. You may qualify for financial help to pay for coverage and care. This amount is based on your income. You may also qualify for a public program like Medicaid or Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+).

Do You Offer Telehealth Appointments?

Yes! Peak Vista now offers telecare appointments for medical and behavioral health services. Our patients have the capability to meet with their provider virtually, from the comfort of their own home.
