A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a charitable giving account that allows donors to recommend grants to eligible nonprofit organizations over time.
If you already have a DAF, you can recommend a grant to Peak Vista Community Health Centers Foundation to support our greatest needs or a program that aligns with your philanthropic interests.
Depending on the policies of your DAF sponsoring organization, you may also be able to include Peak Vista as part of your fund’s future succession or charitable plans.

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution, or QCD, directly from an eligible IRA to Peak Vista Community Health Centers Foundation.
A qualifying distribution is sent directly from the IRA to an eligible charitable organization. For donors who are required to take minimum distributions, a QCD may count toward all or part of the required minimum distribution while the qualifying amount may be excluded from taxable income.
Eligibility and tax treatment depend on your individual circumstances. Please consult your financial or tax advisor to determine whether a QCD is right for you.
