Marissa Lucca, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals and families across the lifespan. She spent the last ten years serving in the U.S. Army, where she gained extensive clinical experience and developed a deep sense of service, resilience, and dedication to others.
Her career has taken her beyond traditional practice settings – traveling throughout South and Central America, Vietnam, and South Africa to provide care on humanitarian medical missions. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the power of accessible, community-based healthcare and strengthened her commitment to reaching underserved populations.
In addition to her clinical work, Marissa serves as the Medical Chair for Sisters of Service, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Afghan refugees. This role allows her to blend her clinical expertise with her commitment to advocacy, equity, and cultural humility in healthcare.
Marissa is deeply passionate about community health because she believes strong, healthy communities begin with access to compassionate, quality care. She is dedicated to building trusting relationships with patients, addressing barriers to care, and empowering individuals to take charge of their health. Her goal is to ensure every patient feels seen, heard, and supported in their healthcare journey.
Outside of work, Marissa enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She is an avid runner and CrossFit enthusiast, and she loves hiking, backpacking, and skiing whenever she gets the chance. Most importantly, she treasures time with her husband, young daughter, and their dog – whether they are exploring the mountains together or enjoying quiet moments at home.
