Timothy Bewley, PA-C, is originally from a small community in eastern Kansas, where his interest in medicine began during high school while working as an orderly in a rural hospital. After completing his physician assistant program, he relocated to Colorado Springs and went on to build more than 20 years of experience practicing in critical care, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and rural primary care across Kansas and Colorado.
Throughout his career, Timothy has remained committed to providing care for underserved rural and remote communities, a mission he continues through his practice in Limon. Having lived and worked in rural settings himself, he understands both the benefits and the challenges of rural life. His experiences led him to develop a strong interest in psychiatry and addiction medicine, particularly in response to the limited access to these services in rural Colorado. In 2020, Timothy joined the staff of a Colorado Springs facility, where he provided detoxification, rehabilitation, and intensive psychiatric care alongside his rural practice until 2025. Through hands-on experience and completion of a postgraduate psychiatric program, he developed the skills needed to deliver comprehensive behavioral health services.
Outside of his professional work, Timothy enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, which initially drew him to Colorado. He was an avid skier and distance runner for many years, completing marathons throughout the United States and Europe. He currently enjoys mountain biking and gardening and is always looking for something new to add to his garden. Timothy also has a deep love for dogs; his rescue dog, Ellie, has been his companion for 11 years and was his running partner for many miles.
