Dr. Welfare completed her medical training at Brown University Medical School and her internship at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Virginia. She is from a small town in Pennsylvania and has been with Peak Vista since 2009. Dr. Welfare worked at a Community Health Center in Indiana and loved her patients. So when she chose to move to Colorado to be close to family, Peak Vista was the perfect fit for her.
She says she is touched most by any child whom she's had to diagnose with a chronic disease. She loves her work but also loves spending time with her family, reading or hiking. Her favorite food is fettuccine alfredo and she loves traveling to Vail, CO and Costa Rica.
