Bradley Stokes, DO, traces his passion for medicine back to a childhood experience that left a lasting impression. After breaking his arm in two places from a fall, he remembers feeling scared and anxious as a young patient. The kindness and reassurance shown by the physician who cared for him inspired Bradley’s desire to help others in the same way. As he grew older, his curiosity about the human body developed into a deep love of learning, ultimately leading him to earn a biology degree and pursue medical school.
Teaching is one of Bradley’s core passions, and he has found that practicing primary care — particularly serving underserved populations — allows him to blend his dedication to health, well-being, and education. What he enjoys most about his medical practice is spending time with patients and teaching them about their conditions and treatment plans in ways that empower them to successfully manage their health.
Outside of work, Bradley enjoys spending time with his three children, smoking barbecue in the backyard, and hosting family dinners. He also loves being outdoors and participates in activities such as hiking, fishing, and backpacking. Reading and lifelong learning continue to be important parts of his life.
