Please take a moment and let us know how your experience was.
Tara is originally from Washington State and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Pacific Lutheran University. She attended the University of Colorado for her Master of Science in Nursing. Tara was a Midwife Student at Peak Vista in 2013 and fell in love with the organization's mission and patient population. After working for a couple of years in private practice she couldn’t wait to come back as a Certified Nurse-Midwife.
Tara works full-time in the clinic and is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys seeing a variety of different types of patients including annual exams, pregnancy visits, birth control consults, and postpartum care to name a few. Tara is passionate about educating women about their bodies and empowering them to make decisions about their health.
“My favorite part about being a midwife is developing relationships with my patients. I love it when I get to see a patient pre-conceptually, throughout her pregnancy, postpartum, and then later for their annual exam.”
In her free time, Tara enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
