In 2014 the Colorado Springs Business Journal recognized the superior work of Peak Vista providers, naming them among “Best Physician Groups” in the “Best of the Springs” edition. Several providers were recognized for exemplary work in 2014, including Amy Clauss, MD, who was awarded the 2014 Corps Community Day Award, by the Colorado Health Service Corps and the Colorado Community Health Network (CCHN) for outstanding leadership, collaboration and exceptional service in health care; Deepak Honaganahalli, MD, awarded the Outstanding Contributions to Rural and Community Care Clerkship Award by the University of Colorado School of Medicine for contributing to the success of medical students and outstanding commitment to medical education; Amilu Stewart MD, FACS, was presented the 2014 CCHN Volunteer Clinician Award for outstanding contribution to the health and welfare of patients in her community; Greg Morris, PA – C, was recognized by the Community Health Association of Mountain/Plains States with the 2014 Outstanding Advocate of the Underserved Award.
