What We Do In The Community

Our Outreach team meets people where they already are—at schools, community events, and neighborhood gatherings. We answer questions and help connect families to care in simple, approachable ways.

Our work includes:

  • Sharing information about medical, dental, and behavioral health services.
  • Helping people learn where to get care.
  • Setting up tables at local events and speaking with families face-to-face.

   Our Outreach Team In Action

Our Outreach team is made up of caring people who enjoy working with the community. Each team member brings strong experience and a desire to help others. We show up to events ready to listen, answer questions, and guide people toward the services they need. Our goal is to make Peak Vista feel welcoming and easy to approach.

Our Community Outreach team visits places where families and community members already spend time. You’ll see us at events and gathering spaces across Colorado Springs, the East Central Region, the Eastern Plains, Fountain, and Divide. We show up in settings that bring people together so they can learn about care in a familiar environment.

We often attend:

  • Resource fairs and health events
  • School carnivals and youth activities
  • Community center and senior programs
  • Neighborhood festivals and cultural events
  • Partner-led community gatherings

At each event, our team brings tools and information to help people learn about Peak Vista’s services. We set up tables, share brochures, bring age-appropriate swag, and answer questions about how to get care.

We bring:

  • Brochures and printed materials
  • Swag for kids and adults
  • Service and location information
  • Help with where to go for care
  • Support for insurance and program questions
  • A friendly, welcoming team
