  Laboratory Services at Peak Vista

Lab tests are an important part of keeping you and your family healthy. They give your provider information to spot health problems early, guide your treatment, and track your progress.

At Peak Vist Community Health Centers, many of our health centers have labs on-site, so you can often get your tests done right after your appointment. This makes your care faster, easier, and more complete.

  Understanding Peak Vista Lab Services

Lab tests are one of the best ways to stay healthy. Even when you feel fine, lab work can find early signs of problems like diabetes, thyroid issues, or high cholesterol. If you take certain medicines, like warfarin, labs help make sure the medicine is working safely. Lab testing also helps our community by making sure prescriptions are used safely through our Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).

Here are some ways lab services support your health:

  • Find health changes before you notice symptoms.
  • Support diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Keep patients and the community safe through prescription monitoring.

Why This Matters: Lab services give you and your provider a clear view of your health, so you can stay ahead of problems before they become serious.

Peak Vista laboratories provide a wide range of tests to support your care. Our trained staff make sure your tests are safe and accurate. Most testing is done on-site, while some specialized tests are sent to trusted Colorado laboratories when needed.

Examples of lab services include:

  • Blood tests and specimen collection
  • Urine and stool tests
  • Glucose tolerance testing
  • Drug testing
  • Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)

If you have insurance, Quest will bill your insurance first. If you are self-pay or qualify for Peak Vista’s sliding fee scale, Quest will bill you based on that level.
