The CDC announced last week that fully-vaccinated people can resume activities they enjoyed prior to the pandemic without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.

Governor Polis announced that masks are no longer required by the state for fully-vaccinated people. In certain settings, masks are not required by unvaccinated people. He went on to advise that masking is a ‘suggestion’, not a ‘requirement’.

Regardless, face coverings are still required in schools, prisons, health care and other specified settings. At Peak Vista Community Health Centers will continue to do our part, optimizing the safety of our patients and each other by and practicing universal source control

  • wearing a mask,
  • distancing > 6 feet
  • continueing with frequent hand washing

This is for everyone’s continued safety! Peak Vista will transition to less universal source control requirements at some point in the future. Unfortunately, we aren’t there yet!
