Dr. Attard earned his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, followed by his PsyD in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in trauma and human sexuality, from the University of the Rockies. He completed his doctoral residency at Peak Vista Community Health Centers and is currently enrolled in his post-doctoral fellowship, also at Peak Vista. He passed the National Counselor Examination and the Mental Health Jurisprudence Exam. Dr. Attard holds an unrestricted independent license as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. Dr. Attard’s areas of specialty and expertise include Human Sexuality and LGBTIQ related issues, Pediatric Psychology, and Trauma Informed Care with the Houseless Population. Dr. Attard works specifically with our special program in connection with The Place providing onsite, in the moment counseling to youth experiencing homelessness in Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas.
In his spare time Dr. Attard enjoys catching Z’s and cooking Mediterranean foods.
