Birth to age 5 are magical years in a baby's life. Our First Visitor program provides FREE, one-on-one support for parents and caregivers in the comfort of their own home. We provide emotional support, connect parents and caregivers with free community resources, and share information on health, nutrition, safety, and important developmental milestones.
Our Well-Child Waiting Areas provide free childcare services with peace of mind. Our dedicated and caring staff will look after and provide educational activities for children aged 6 months to 12 years while their parents are in appointments. Available at the Union, International Circle, and Academy campuses.
At the Developmental Disabilities Health Center (DDHC), we strive to provide exceptional health care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Common intellectual and developmental disabilities include Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Fetal-Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), Fragile X, and other cognitive disabilities. A representative from Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) will be available Wednesday, July 17th and 24th at the Pediatric Health Center at International Circle to chat with parents with children under five and expecting parents. WIC provides breastfeeding support, information about healthy eating, connections to free, healthy food, and referrals to care beyond WIC. * Appointments are not needed; walk-ins for this service will be accepted.
