With 10 years of executive leadership in community health centers, Dr. Emily Ptaszek is committed to advancing health equity, access and whole-person primary health care. She comes to Peak Vista from Southwest Florida, where she most recently served as President & CEO at a Federally Qualified Health Center.
Dr. Ptaszek is a licensed psychologist and spent over a decade providing direct care before entering executive leadership. Her background has fueled her passion for providing high quality, patient-centered care to all and building competent, compassionate and cohesive teams that drive both community-wide and organizational change.
Dr. Ptaszek earned her Doctor of Psychology from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland and received her Master of Business Administration with a focus in health care from Florida Atlantic University - College of Business. She is a board-certified clinical psychologist and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
In her free time, Dr. Ptaszek enjoys spending time outside and finding new places to hike and explore.
A native of Colorado Springs, Colt has been serving and investing in the lives of Colorado’s underserved and disenfranchised community with Peak Vista since 2014, and brings over 19 years of organizational development and business leadership to compliment this passion for creating positive change in our community.
In addition to earning his Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Colt has many years of community development experience both domestically and overseas – fueled by his passion for service, fighting social inequality and a belief in the power of compassionate advocacy to create change.
Colt spends his free time with his wife and sons, exploring Colorado’s spectacular mountains.
Robert is originally from Hillsboro, Ohio, however has spent the last 25 years in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rob completed his Master’s in Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Colorado Technical University. He has 26 years of health care experience that includes executive management of a myriad of specialty and primary care practices, urgent care locations, and oversight of a residency program. Rob is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives, and is also a licensed PTA. He sits on several area boards including the American College of Health Care Executives and Home Front Military Care Network Advisory Board.
During his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons.
Ryan has lived and travelled globally but considers Colorado Springs his home. He is a 20-year career Army Veteran, with half his career flying medical helicopters, and the other half leading healthcare administration through operations and finance.
He most recently served as the COO of Evans Army Community Hospital and concurrently as the CFO of the Colorado Military Health System.
He is a graduate of the University of Colorado here in Colorado Springs and earned his MBA from Western Kentucky University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is passionate about influencing operations through the financial lens.
He and his wife focus on their seven children and he enjoys playing jazz guitar and working under the hood of old muscle cars in his spare time.
Dr. Tanaka is from Idaho and a twenty-six-year Army Veteran. He completed his undergraduate studies at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1992 and went on to graduate from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in 1996. Dr. Tanaka is passionate about serving people who have access barriers.
“My relationship with patients is based on mutual trust and respect,” comments Dr. Tanaka. “I believe that the majority of the healing process in people happens outside of the medical system – where people live, work, worship, play and socialize.”
During his free time, Dr. Tanaka enjoys spending time with his family and cheering for the Denver Broncos.
As Chief of Staff, Barbara serves as the voice of the CEO in the interest of managing projects to completion, tracking timelines, and planning for the PVCHC Board of Directors meetings, and works hand in hand with the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, and project management office.
Barbara is originally from Pennsylvania and has lived in Colorado Springs for the past 16 years. Before joining the Peak Vista team, she held positions as a Manager of Urgent Care, managing day-to-day operations for six Urgent Care Clinics across Southern Colorado; a Clinic Supervisor for three Physical Therapy Clinics; and served in Business Support for Health Care Executives.
She earned her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from Colorado State University, as well as an associate degree in Computer Science from Mount Aloysius College. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons kayaking, camping, and enjoying time outdoors.
Harold Geolingo is originally from La Verne, California and has lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for 15 years. He has over 30 years of health care management and leadership experience that spans the spectrum of specialty care, primary care, and behavioral health in ambulatory and hospital settings. Geo has a passion and belief in quality health care that is patient-centric and evidence-based to achieve the best possible outcomes for the patient. He earned a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Baylor University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Geo is a twenty-year US Army Veteran and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.

Mary Lynn Sheetz has been with Peak Vista Community Health Centers for over 50 years. She works with low-income individuals and those experiencing homelessness at Mesa House, a hospitality house in Colorado Springs.
She says that she is committed to Peak Vista because health care should be a right of everyone, not the privilege of a few. The entire community benefits by caring for one another.
Reverend Turner has built his management skills through work in business and ministry. He has served as the Pastor at the LIFE Church of Colorado Springs since 2010, and previously served as a Student Pastor at Livingway Pentecostal Church and Director of The Pentecostal Student Center.
Brett has a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He joined Peak Vista in 2009 as a physician assistant. In his time with Peak Vista, he practiced in Peak Vista’s Rheumatology clinic, providing specialty care and diagnoses to those with rheumatology, and eventually became the medical director at the Lane Family Health Center and the Health Center at Divide.
Brett is a mission-driven provider who cares deeply for his patients, “I appreciate the trust my patients and their families place in me to provide their care.”
In his free time, Brett enjoys spending time outside cycling, skiing and snowboarding.
Kyle received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Colorado State University-Pueblo, where he also competed as a collegiate athlete. As a Colorado native, he brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to this position. He is dedicated to his staff and is actively engaged in their development and advancement. Kyle focuses on the delivery of exceptional customer service, achievement of goals and the fostering of genuine interpersonal relationships. He strives to make a connection with everyone that he interacts with, both staff and patients alike.
Outside of work, Kyle values spending quality time with his wife and their three children. As a family, they enjoy hiking and camping in the beautiful outdoors as well as making memories with their extended family and friends. Kyle continues to participate in sports, playing softball and golf during his free time.
Fadi serves as a Data Analytics Supervisor for the El Paso County Department of Human Services (DHS). He previously worked for 3.5 years as an epidemiologist in the office of Data and Analytics of El Paso County Public Health. He was named the National Alliance for Mental Health’s (NAMI) Advocate of the Year in 2020, and Person of the Week for the Pikes Peak United Way in February 2021. He’s also been published in several prestigious publications including the International Journal of Cancer, The Journals of Gerontology, and the Hawai’i Journal of Medicine & Public Health.
Having immigrated from Iraq to the United States, Fadi and his family settled in Hawaii where he later attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa. There he earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Biology and Journalism; a Master of Science in Epidemiology; and is a currently completing his Doctorate in Epidemiology. In 2019, he moved to Colorado Springs where he resides with his wife and daughter.
Rocio currently serves as the Memory Care Director at Jackson Creek Senior Living in Monument. Her entire career has been in healthcare, with most of her work in senior living communities. She was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León Mexico, moved to the United States at age four, and has lived here in Colorado Springs for 28 years. She grew up in the Knob Hill area of town and has called southeastern Colorado Springs her home for the past 10 years.
Rocio earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in health care administration from Ashford University and holds a minor in finance. She’s also a certified nurse aide, having trained at the Nursing & Therapy Services of Colorado, and is certified as a Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP). Rocio is continuing her training in project management with a goal to receive a PMP certificate and hopes to pursue a doctoral degree in health care administration.
Keith joined Peak Vista with over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience and has worked with 8 different FQHCs during his time at IU Health/Healthnet, Inc.
Previously, he held roles as both a Senior Director – M&A Healthcare Lead with Performance Improvement Partners and an Executive IT Advisor for Glass Full, LLC. He also served in various executive leadership positions across several states, including serving as the EVP of Strategic Initiatives & Chief Information Officer (CIO) for LGS Legacy Care in Virginia; VP & CIO for Roper St. Francis Health in South Carolina; and SVP & CIO for Lutheran Health Network in Indiana.
Keith earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Information Systems from Indiana University, and later his Master of Business Administration with a Healthcare Specialization from Indiana Wesleyan University. When he’s not in the office, Keith enjoys exploring the outdoors and traveling with his family.
Deb is a highly experienced IT professional with 25 years of expertise in information technology and leadership roles within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the head of the IT Department at Peak Vista, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her position. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Deb has resided in Colorado Springs for 18 years.
Deb earned a bachelor’s degree in information technology and a master’s in business administration with a focus on information technology management, both from Western Governors University (WGU). Outside of her professional endeavors, Deb enjoys leisure activities, including motorcycle riding, camping, and skiing.
Dr. Sharp completed her undergraduate degree from Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Indiana and went on to graduate with her PhD in Psychology in 2004. Dr. Sharp completed her residency in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed a Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Shriners Hospitals for Children. Dr. Sharp is passionate about the way Peak Vista strives to provide exceptional care to individuals who may not otherwise be able to access health care. Dr. Sharp specializes in behavioral health changes and coping with chronic health conditions and accomplishes these with short-term, solution-focused intervention.
In her spare time, Dr. Sharp enjoys spending time with her family and loves to explore new places.
Adam is a native of Colorado Springs. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Resource Management from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. He is passionate about bringing exceptional health care to people facing access barriers.
During his free time, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and playing sports.
Dr. Leensvaart attended school at the University of Colorado Health Science Center - School of Dentistry, and graduated in 2011 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Leensvaart began as a student intern with Peak Vista and is originally from LIttleton, CO.
When not working, Dr. Leensvaart enjoys skiing, snowboarding and woodworking, and enjoys vacationing in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Dr. Rahaman was born in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to the United States when he was 14. He has been a general pediatrician at Peak Vista since 1999, at which time he was the sole pediatrician. In 2005, he became the Director of Peak Vista’s Pediatric Health Center, supervising nine pediatric providers. He was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Medical Services in 2007, and oversees the Pediatric Health Center, Women’s Health Center, Family Health Center at Myron Stratton and Falcon Peak Health Center.
Dr. Rahaman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He obtained his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine, and completed his residency and chief residency at Mattel/UCLA Children’s Hospital. He currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he has been on the clinical faculty since 2001.
Dr. Rahaman is passionate about continuing to improve patient access and quality of care for the underserved; and promoting that a focus on education is the proven way out of the cycle of poverty.
He and his family enjoy all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.
Randall grew up in Centennial, Colorado. He graduated with a Master of Science from Harding University as a Physician Assistant. Randall started at Peak Vista in 2012. Randall enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He and his family love watching and playing soccer and basketball and appreciate living in Colorado!
Cassidy earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois and dedicated many years to programs that helped individuals overcome barriers to achieving optimal health and wellness. After moving to Colorado and coming to work at Peak Vista, Cassidy earned her master’s degree in business administration, with a focus on health care administration, from the University of Northern Colorado.
Cassidy started at Peak Vista in 2015 as a member of the High-Risk Care Management team. She now oversees Peak Vista’s Behavioral Health Operations, Special Programs & Projects, and Sterile Processing teams. Cassidy is known for her instrumental role in opening Peak Vista’s Enrichment & Counseling Centers.
In her free time, Cassidy likes to spend time with her children doing arts and crafts or exploring the great outdoors.

She previously worked in the behavioral health field in Austin, Texas as a Case Manager/Case Coordinator supporting individuals in need, helping them to live independently in the community. Having worked with a 4-time HFMA MAP award-winning organization in revenue cycle, she works towards patient accounts excellence.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys hiking, skiing, and celebrating life with her husband and three children.
Lelia serves in Recreational Assistance for the City of Colorado Springs. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, she has lived in Colorado Springs for 46 years and resided for 30 of those years in the southeastern part of the region. She currently serves on the Board of RISE Southeast where she is also a Resident Leader; the Board of the Colonial Park HOA; and has been an active leader in her church for over 13 years. She also served for 4 years on the steering committee that helped to build the Southeast YMCA and was part of several committees over the last 3.5 years aiding in the reopening of Panorama Park.

She’s held roles as a youth, family, and community advocate; project and program coordinator; outreach and event coordinator; community navigator; and served in positions in program, project, and care management.
