Alyssa Tews is the Residency Program Coordinator and a native of Colorado Springs. She began working for Peak Vista in 2021.
Before joining Peak Vista, Alyssa received her Master’s degree from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with her thesis focusing on mapping potential grey wolf movements in Northwestern Colorado. Her undergraduate studies at Rhodes College earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and included published research on animal physiology and behavior.
Alyssa is excited for this change in work environment, and states, “I was always involved with education either through tutoring or substitute teaching, and the Program Coordinator role is an unique opportunity for me to enhance other’s education. My goal is for residents to feel welcome at Peak Vista, and to foster a robust learning environment so residents can flourish in their field.”
In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys hiking, working in the garden, and frequenting her local bookstore.
