Dr. Liehr was born in Denver, CO but raised in Panama. He lived in Panama until returning to the United States to complete college at Houston Baptist University and then Medical School at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He continued to finish his residency in Ob/Gyn at Parkland Hospital in Dallas as well.
In 2002, Dr. Liehr moved to Colorado Springs to serve at the Air Force Academy. He continued his military commitment at Fort Carson until being honorably discharged in 2006. During his service years, he began working as a per diem for Peak Vista. Upon completion of his service commitment, he entered private practice. His time with Peak Vista was very rewarding and he found so much more job satisfaction and life fulfillment working for community health. In 2007, Dr. Liehr left private practice and joined Peak Vista full time.
When not working, Dr. Liehr spends his time with his wife. They have three children and a zoo of pets. His pursuits are yogic philosophy and lifestyle and finding anyway, be it cycling, running, or hiking, to be in the mountains.
