First Visitor is a free home visitation program that provides education and resources to new or expecting parents. The program, unlike many in the area, is completely open to the public, allowing it to help more parents in need. Any family with children between the ages of zero to five years old is eligible, regardless of income level or affiliation with Peak Vista. The First Visitor program believes in the importance of providing parents with the tools they need to help their child flourish and to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Peak Vista Community Health Centers celebrates its seventeenth annual Breakfast of Champions®, a premier fundraising event returning this year as an in-person event; Friday, November 19, 2021. The event will be held at the Broadmoor from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and it will feature 14-time Paralympic Gold Medalist, Erin Popovich, as its keynote speaker.

Peak Vista Community Health Centers will break ground on the Peak Vista Community Health Center Downtown on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. The health center is located at the corner of S. Tejon St. and E. Las Vegas St. and is scheduled to open in early 2022.

Peak Vista will break ground on a new health center in Colorado Springs in late Summer. Located at the corner of S. Tejon St. and E. Las Vegas, The Tejon Health Center, is scheduled to open in 2022. It will provide Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health and Care Coordination services.

Peak Vista received its first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Peak Vista will follow public health guidelines as set by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) for administering the vaccine, vaccinating staff at a rate that is safe for Peak Vista associates while ensuring continued patient care.

In years previous, Breakfast of Champions has been a premier, in-person event. This year, the event will take place virtually throughout the month of November. Funds raised will help provide primary medical, dental and behavioral health services that support people living in the Pikes Peak and East Central regions of Colorado.
