Peak Vista’s APRN Fellowship is a 13-month-long, full-time employed position for transitioning or recently graduated licensed FNPs who desire to increase their family practice competence and confidence in a progressive, collaborative learning environment. The Fellowship Clinic primarily serves an underserved patient population and those facing healthcare access barriers. The Fellowship is Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) accredited with distinction, follows a format recognized by (opens in a new tab), and combines hands-on clinical experience, problem-based learning, and mentorship.
Generally, the Fellowship begins the day after Labor Day. The Fellows spend a year in an immersive, clinical environment, graduating in August the following year.
The Fellowship accepts 5 Fellows each year.
The program is designed for transitioning or recently graduated licensed FNPs or FNP candidates who will be certified and licensed by the start of the program.
