Meet Your Provider: Jessica Sena, FNP

Jessica Sena

With Peak Vista since 2018

Jessica is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, new to the Peak Vista Team, seeing patients of all ages to encourage optimal health. Jessica develops a partnership with her patients to create a therapeutic relationship in which the patient is the center. This enables sharing of information and goal setting to ensure the patient thrives. Jessica believes the foundation of a therapeutic relationship starts with trust between the patient and provider. Jessica holds a Master's degree in Nursing from Simmons College of Nursing and Health Science in Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up in New Hampshire and came to Colorado more than 20 years ago while on active duty in the Air Force. She and her husband have lived in Colorado Springs since meeting while on active duty. Upon separating from the Air Force, she stayed at home to raise her two girls, now 16 and 14 years old. She went back to school to become a registered nurse when the youngest went to preschool. Upon receiving her Associate's degree in Nursing, she began her nursing career at Memorial Hospital North. While working on her Bachelor's degree, she moved into specialty care and became the charge nurse at the GI Lab at Memorial Hospital Central. During graduate school, she joined the perioperative team at Grandview Hospital and worked there until joining the Peak Vista Team. Jessica, her husband, Patrick and their two girls, Sarah and Emily reside in Colorado Springs. They enjoy family time together, socializing with friends, and watching the girls perform at dance competitions in the Denver Metro area.
