A native of Iowa, Dr. Plamondon oversees all dental services at Peak Vista with an additional concentration on infection prevention, occupational health and safety. He is passionate about providing quality dental care, alleviating pain, and suffering for the underserved population (in a safe and fiscally responsible manner) and promoting oral health.
Dr. Plamondon received his Bachelor’s degree from Loras College in Dubuque, IA and his D.D.S. from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry in Iowa City. He held various leadership positions with the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps between 1978 and 2005. In addition, he has served as a staff dentist at Ft. Carson and Associate Staff Dentist at both Southern Cross Dental and Classic Dental. Dr. Plamondon is now the Dental Director at our Dental Center at International Circle.
Dr. Plamondon is a Board Certified Comprehensive General Dentist with the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD), a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), and has received the U.S.A.F. Meritorious Service Medal with Three Oak Leaf Clusters. He has also written various articles for professional publications.
Dr. Plamondon and his wife, Nancy, have a son named Jonathan and a daughter named Kathleen. He is involved on a volunteer basis with his children’s athletic activities, Boy Scouts, and numerous community service projects including Colorado Mission of Mercy. He likes the Broncos, enjoys Iowa football, playing golf, hiking in Colorado and Utah, and likes downhill skiing in Vail.
