Child Abuse Prevention
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Peak Vista is working to educate and assist families in recognition of the month. Our First Visitor program will be hosting a booth between April 15th through 19th at the Pediatric Health Center at International Circle. In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention month, we will be sharing information about our First Visitor program, local community resources, child abuse prevention and child safety tips.

WIC at Peak Vista
Throughout 2024, a WIC representative will be on site at Peak Vista's International Circle location. No appointments necessary! The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children - better known as the WIC program- serves to safeguard the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating including breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals to health care.
