Use First Visitor and Bright Beginnings’ materials (games, board books, and reading materials) to deliver child development information to parents and caregivers in your local area. With First Visitor/Bright Beginnings materials you will answer the “how come”, “how to” and “whys” all parents have. You determine your own schedule and traveling radius (bilingual, a plus).
Contact Support Liaison
Do you enjoy talking to people? Volunteers will make phone calls to parents and caregivers who have received our early childhood development materials through partner agencies that want follow up. Volunteers will be trained in our Program Materials and have the ability to schedule their own home visits. Must also be trained as Home Visitor.
Data Entry Specialist
Do you like to help out with valuable tasks? Do you enjoy computers? Do you like to work at home? Would you rather work in an office setting? This opportunity allows for incredible flexibility regarding time and location. Data entry is a vital aspect of our operations. The information is used when applying for grants and other funding. You can assist in this process by entering information from our visit forms into our database (own laptop, a plus).
A self-starter to manage, organize and work in our Materials Room. This includes putting our materials together, organizing the room, sort baby items, and other tasks.
Are you looking for a leadership opportunity? Lead home visitors in your local area. Train home visitor volunteers using First Visitor’s and Bright Beginnings training procedures, provide support, offer guidance, and coordinate routine meetings for visitors in your area. Must be a home visitor for a minimum of 3 months.
Do you have a skill that you think First Visitor could benefit from? We would love to hear what you have to offer! Assist First Visitor for a specific period of time and work on a project that interests YOU!
