| External Relations Coordinator |
Job Summary: A full time position is available in our External Relations Department. The External Relations Coordinator will work hand in hand with the External Relations Program Manager to accomplish graphic design, public relations, marketing, outreach, and special events activities. Duties will require occasional evening and weekend events.
Specials Skills, Characteristics, and Abilities: Professional conduct and appearance, interpersonal relations, team player, personal integrity, decision-making, problem solving, project and time management, technical skills, non-profit orientation, and collaborative nature, positive attitude and high energy.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, communications, public relations or related field/ 3-5 years of communications, public relations and event planning experience required/healthcare industry background preferred/proven graphic design required/strong oral and written communications skills/bi-lingual in Spanish a benefit.

Assesses and develops strategies to correct identified issues, implements changes and evaluates the results, modifies as required such as charge reconciliation and data integrity. Uses strong analytical skills to find trends in reports, patient billing, and account duplication in medical billing/health record reports. Works with clinical staff to assure data entry processes support optimal patient care services communication among partners. Supports the development and implementation of the demographic and clinical components of Health Track. Prepares and trains staff on how to generate reports on the Uniform Data System (UDS) for organization. Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills in an electronic documentation environment. Utilize Practice Management software, PC and server based applications to resolve user requests for assistance. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Participates in leadership and other meetings as required. Supports various corporate projects which includes but is not limited to Peak Vista’s patient flow though the various administrative and clinical departments. Strong organizational skills and superior customer service orientation. Prepares technical specifications and evaluates bids to secure hardware, software, and services; participates in vendor selection meetings and conferences; plans and projects personnel, equipment and space needs/costs for management consideration and approves renewal contracts. Conducts Unit training meetings on a published schedule to train IT Reporting Department staff. Continually evaluates the software and hardware available on the market to make appropriate technology decisions in regard to the organizations strategic plan. Is aware of and enforces standards associated with HIPAA privacy and security rules.
Minimum education required: Bachelors in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.

| Sterilization Tech/Dental Assistant |
Job Summary:
Primary Duties: This is a position with the duties aimed at sterilization procedures. This position will have primarily the tasks required to assist the Dental Assistants with sterilization tasks. Sterilizes Dental equipment and instruments using chemical disinfectants. Performs cleaning requirements on radiology development equipment as well as cleans the autoclaves & other sterilization equipment. Conducts spoor tests requirements and documentation related to this aspect. Maintains logs for the equipment in the clinic.
Secondary Duties : Provides assistance to dentist during examination and treatment of patients, Prepares dental
treatment room setup, cleans and sterilizes operative instruments using chemical disinfectants/autoclave, Monitors &
maintains any updates on the forms in the dental chart, Take Blood Pressure when needed & review the Medical
History of the patient for any pertinent information the dentist may need to be aware of & pass this onto the dentist,
Performs the function of child prophys & sealants as a separate schedule as assigned, Makes sure that the super bills
are accurate for the Front Desk staff, is able to collect any additional money from the patient, Send out the Patient
Reminder cards each month.
Minimum education required: High School graduate, GED or equivalent in work experience, Dental Assistant certification required/OJT may be substituted as in Dental Assistant Job description. Sterilization experience preferred, Ability to maintain logs/paperwork as needed. Some dental/ medical office experience preferred.
