Phipps completed her Medical training at Harding University in Searcy, AK. She came to Colorado with her husband, who is a civil engineer. Phipps was interested in Peak Vista’s Refugee health care model and enjoys working in a multicultural environment.

Phipps enjoys running, skiing, hiking, fishing, reading and photography. She recently completed her first marathon! She also enjoys hiking the Colorado 14’ers. Her favorite in-state location to visit is Telluride and she also enjoys Italy.

Phipps enjoys the western “Tombstone” and her favorite TV show is “Scrubs.” She loves cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and listening to country music (and such oldies like Frank Sinatra). Favorite food? Pizza or anything Italian.
