Chavez attended CU Dental School in Denver before moving to Colorado Springs. He began his career at Peak Vista as a volunteer at the Homeless Dental Clinic. He remembers a little girl who was staying at the Homeless Shelter during Christmas. He asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she looked up and said “I wish my tooth would stop hurting.” That really touched his heart. Chavez has many interests - from fly fishing to golf and says he is trying to “fill my bucket list before I cease to exist.” He loves westerns, all kinds of music, any kind of food and loves to vacation...anywhere! |
