Peak Vista Community Health Center's Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, was established in 2006 with the sole purpose of ensuring sustainability of the medical, dental and behavioral health services provided by Peak Vista Community Health Centers whose mission is to provide exceptional healthcare for people facing access barriers.
The Need for Peak Vista
In 1971, a group of citizens met to discuss their concern about the lack of health care for low income and uninsured residents. The resolution was a clinic, which later became Peak Vista Community Health Centers. What once was staffed by volunteer nurses and doctors has now grown into a comprehensive health organization with over 400 employees. Peak Vista provides a medical home with patient-focused care. Our community faces a growing healthcare crisis. Peak Vista is a sound investment, assuring quality care to our community’s working families. Colorado and our nation addresses the complex issue of healthcare reform.
