The Need for Peak Vista Foundation:

In 1971, a group of citizens met to discuss its concern about the lack of health care for low income and uninsured residents. The resolution was a clinic, which later became Peak Vista Community Health Centers. What once was staffed by volunteer nurses and doctors has now grown into a comprehensive health organization and provides a health care home with patient-focused care. As our community continued to experience an increased demand for primary healthcare services, the need for strategic fundraising was identified and the Peak Vista Community Health Centers Foundation was established in 2005. Today the Foundation is a sound investment, supporting the sustainability of quality health care to over 66,000 people in the Pikes Peak Region.
