First Visitor volunteers provide a unique opportunity to share their experience, strength and hope to new parents who may need some specialized support from someone who has "been there." Volunteers are trained to provide information and referrals on health and safety, immunizations, child and brain development, early learning, parent-child bonding, child care and connections to community resources.
