Peak Vista’s
Second Sight Vision Services, co-located with our Senior Health Center at Union & Vickers, provides non-medical help to the visually-impaired who want to learn how to live more independently and happily despite challenges with their sight. Second Sight does this by teaching clients how to cook, handle money, travel around town, etc. through one-on-one training and classroom instruction. Second Sight also shows visually-impaired persons how to use special computers designed to meet their physical challenges.
Support groups and a retail store offers assorted devices to enhance the program. Community resources and referrals are also available.
Second Sight Vision Services is available to all individuals with visual challenges, regardless of age.
